How do people recommend carrying around filters? I have a grand total of one loose filter which doesn't have a cover (I've been keeping it in the original packaging, which isn't terribly practical and which would probably break open if I tried to haul it around in a bag).

I saw a guy who screwed them all together and kept two old scratched ones on either end. I'm waiting till I have two old scratched ones:D

For the mean time I just keep them in their original boxes. Not had one pop open on me yet. (When it does I'll be 1 closer to my two ends:D )

There are filter wallets for 3 or more filters at most camera stores (not the little ritzes in the malls type).......good luck

Actually, there are metal caps (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?ci=1&sb=ps&pn=1&sq=desc&InitialSearch=yes&O=productlist.jsp&A=search&Q=*&bhs=t&shs=filter+stack+caps) for stacked filters. This is how I carry mine...

I'm a glass filter user. So I keep them in folders. No worries.
