Maine is an amazing place, this lake is too far for a daytrip from Boston I found out. They had a big sea-plane fly-in, and the trip was well worth it, but next time I'll stay over somewhere... Here are some shots. I plan to go next year and get a room nearby and stay a couple of days. Lots of events and pilot competitions were going on. Fun event and all free for spectators.

Maine is an amazing place, this lake is too far for a daytrip from Boston I found out. If you like the region book a stay on Attean Lake and spend your days hiking and canoe-ing. Awesome place to be, but summer is very short up there.

Niiice. I love floatplanes. That's an expensive one, too!

I love Moosehead Lake... a good place to stay is the Chalet Moosehead.. right on the lake in Greenville.. real nice folks.. Eat at the Black Frog with Lee and Mariette... I think I could live in Moosehead.. except for mud season.
Nice shots of the flyin....
