A suggestion:

You might want to subscribe to the thread of choice in your region, then you'll get up dates when someone posts to it!

Curious to actually what the breakdown is as to where everyone is from tha uses SM. (er, Country wise, not statewise)

Most major cities in the US have at least one photography meetup club. I just joined and can't wait to go shooting.

This is a community forum = anyone from Canada could've started a Dgrin Canada meetup thread which I'd have stuck to the top of this thread :D

Thanks a tons for the link, never heard of this site before.

Apparently there are quite few meetup for Philly area, I just register and join for my first ever meetup next Sunday.

Where does Alaska fall in all of this? Especially the northernmost SMUG group?
