Some nice shots, Yuri. I'm rather impressed with your results considering the camera used and the typically....difficult shooting situation UW photography presents. How deep were you....and did you use any additional lighting (strobes etc)? Well done. Thanks for sharing.

Spasibo, Mike!
Instruction tells us about 1.5 meter for 1 hour shooting.
Sure it can take 2 and 3 meters deep.... But light....
It was not easy to dive there (very solt water - and I'm not nearly near a sportsmen :-) - so most of shots taken at about 50 cm - 1 meter under surface... I used flash for several times - but (as you might guess) it was like throwing a cherry pit to bison's herd...
So... I had to... had to use ISO 50... had to wait for better light (all days were sunny), but the angle of the sun rays were importaint... had to wait for better fish... had to wait for her better pose... but... in fact ...I shoot, shoot and shoot a lot of so-so photos, but some are interesting...
It maybe funny, but I think that even underwater flashight may help in some cases...
I was a hero of the season with my small camera around my neck...
Must say that I took a lot of short videos there (with underwater sound!) and thay look very attractive ...
(I'll try to put some to my site...)

Yuri

Very nice shots Yuri especially the last one. Congrats on the new camera. It must be exciting to be able to shoot in a totally new environment.

Neat shots Yuri. I've always wanted to dive the Red Sea, I've heard multiple reports that the diving is incredible there.

Thanks to all of you, my dear friends!
Yuri
I think that little camera is doing quite well. I had a disposable underwater film camera, and an underwater film camera when I went to Bora Bora and Hawaii. I wish there had been a digital one when I went. Some photos I took from a little dock, the water was so clear. But, oh, what I could do now with digital and photoshop!
My favorite photos were of some sea turtles. You got some really nice photos with your little camera. I'm going to watch the movie next.

Thanks for the links, Yuri. I'm not getting them to load, though? :dunno :scratch Not sure if it's my firewall ? I left the window open for a good 10 minutes and never did get anything. :wxwax
Looks like a great time shooting. I wish I could dive.
Cheers
