View Full Version : A fish i saw on the way to the river
I walk down to the river a few times a day...you never know whats down there, always something to look at.
I saw these 2 young fella's walking toward me & i thought to myself "boys..catfish are often best left in the river unless your starving"
It wasnt until i got closer that i realised they had caught a good sized Threadfin Salmon !! I think it maybe time to swap the camera for the rod.

I feel a bit sad for it... To grow that big and then get caught...
I know, I am way too sentimental...

Least of your worries Awais...the river is absolutely loaded with sharks (http://66.102.7.104/search?q=cache:8IHhp41Kc0YJ:www.abc.net.au/catalyst/stories/s903678.htm+brisbane+river+there%E2%80%99s+a+lot+o f+sharks+in+here&hl=en). People sit & catch them all night.
