:ear are you shocked?Yeah I got a bit worried as well, but since I'm in the market, or saving to be in the market for software soon too, it could be timed right.
surprised, not so much shocked... I knew they'd be early, as in I figured they'd announce them today, but not have them live and ready to order today!

Most of the Apple-centric 'Pro' apps are going to be Universal by March and will cost $49 each to update them when they're ready.
I wonder how far behind Adobe and their plug-in developers are from being Rosatta-free?

It's more to the point that it's a dual-core laptop that's up to 4x faster than the existing powerbooks... The existing powerbooks can do photoshop faster already than most PC's.
I'm wanting one pretty badly. Too bad there's no 12 inch model :-(

At very least, I know now that my next desktop will be an iMac 17" intel.
