I went here (http://www.wwt.org.uk/visit/welney/default.asp) on Monday Morning and saw more mute swans than I have ever seen, about 1,000. As day broke, they came out of the reserve in droves. Unfortunately I did not have a camera with me.
I am going back at the end of January and will ensure I blow every shot. But as a heads up to anyone in the UK that does not have Harry on tap there is a photo shoot on the 4th March (http://www.wwt.org.uk/visit/welney/event.asp?EventID=1599) if anyone is interested. They have some canon lenses available to try.
However since the birds fly at dawn, 6am onwards and the reserve does not open 'till 10 am I am not sure what will be available to shoot.
