i want a smugmug dearly because my computer hardrive is getting quite cluttered with photos. my parents *mainly father* is very apprehensive to letting me aquire a smugmug though. please help me convnice him smugmug is for me!

Show him some of the sites that you admire, and talk to him about the photography, what you admire about it, what it is that you want to accomplish, what your vision is that you want to show the world. OK, so why did you use the word "apprehensive"? What exactly is he apprehensive about? I'm not sure how anything bad could come of you having a place to store and display your photographs. :scratch
