View Full Version : need images straight from the camera

We are working on some things to evaluate and improve JPEG quality on our site, and in the interest of doing so... we need some images to play with. We have Canon cameras more than covered, but we need some other samples from other manufacturers/cameras.

Very important:
We need these images to be produced using the veryfine (highest quality JPEG) option on the camera, and then completely untouched by any post processing. We don't want RAW images that are resaved, we don't want JPEG images from the camera that have had any tampering, resaving, anything at all done to them. We just need the image taken and then uploaded to a gallery on smugmug. Any deviation from that will cause problems. :cry

They don't need to be anything special in terms of composition or anything like that. We are looking at the technical specs, not your shooting capabilities. :)

Nikon, Kodak, Olympus, Sony, etc.

Please just post a gallery with 3 or 4 original shots, and the camera specs. Thanks so much in advance!

Feel free to have a look at all my orginial galleries named after the scheme YYYY-MM-ori' in here (http://rainforest1155.smugmug.com/Backup/64603) (stay away from the '...-mod'-galleries - they're all more or less heavily processed :wink)
All pictures are unmodified and from my Sony 717 with highest resolution, JPG-quality and sharpening at the standard level of zero. As long as you just do some testing with it (and I know that's what you'll do) - I've got no problems with it. :1drink

Hope this helps,
Sebastian

We need some more originals from Nikon D2X's. Use the highest setting on the camera and don't touch them with any photo editing tools.

Thanks!

Sheaf,

I have uploaded some images from my Konika Minolta 5d, Extra Fine setting. No editing has been done. They are in a non-public gallery so feel free to do what you need.
