Christmas is cold. It is about fun, laughter and little girls playing with their make-up. Then the fox took her pet Bantam, Chicken Licken. Lots of tears and a formal burial. She asked me to take a picture of her with the dead bantam and would not give it up until I had. I like the way the shot tells the story of the day :cry

aww, what a touching photo and story. even at 59, i still cry when one of my favorite chickens dies. and we have about 40 of them...:cry

So sorry for her loss!

Please tell her for me!

ginger (and her Bantam looks like a very good looking bird! I know of some Corgis who might be at "the bridge" waiting to play with a Bantam, or maybe they have a separate playground.)

I showed her all the replies, she asked me to say, "Thank you for all the comments."

We started the summer with nine chicks and a mother. The mother was the first to go. Now there are three. This was the only one to affect her so strongly though.
