I moved this to SmugMug support, Ric.
What uploader were you using? What browser and platform? :ear

IE uploader.
There are several that work with IE, Ric. I'm going to assume you mean the Windows Drag and Drop.
* Try clearing your cookies and your IE Temp files.
* Try temporarily disabling Anti virus. Be sure you're not running any Accelerator software - and have you recently installed any new firewall, hw, or sw?
* I recommend you give the Universal Drag and Drop Uploader a try. Also, you might try a second browser, we love Firefox from Mozilla.

I'll be back later - have to go out for a bit. You can email help@smugmug.com for further help if you like. Please reference this thread if you do so, so that they don't start from scratch.
Thanks!
