Not too shabby a photo, if I say so myself, right? Ah, come on, humor me here...

But this is what I got it from!

So it pays to crop and experiment in your image editing program. Well, at least I thought it did:D
Unfortunately -- well, fortunately I was experimenting with smart zoom, and the last shot I took was set to 1 megapixel. Here's the unfortunate part, I checked my white balance, checked my EV and shot away... very very gray and foggy at the beach and I was leaning on the pilings to brace myself taking these handheld photos.
Finally the sun peeked out between the fog layers, never really making it...

And no matter what I do I can't adjust this to look like what I actually saw... kind of misty gray, lots of salt haze, and a yellow/pink sky.
But when I got home and started off loading I thought the images were coming in pretty quickly into iView -- sure enough.... I'm a victim of not checking quite enough -- the image size was left at ONE megapixel.
Lesson learned, yet again..... I hope! Good thing these weren't any really decent shots or I'd really be annoyed at myself.
Anyway... that's my day after Christmas...:): :): :):
