I know it can be done as I have seen it in other galleries. Here is what I want to do but can't seem to get it done. I want to have a main category to click then inside the main category I want to have several related to the main category that were taken on different dates like this.

air shows then have inside airshows I want to have Seafair 2005 and McChord Air expo 2005.
Everytine I try it they end up where I don't want them

Hi Jim,

Have you assiged each gallery you want to be in the category "Air Shows?" If you've not set up a category for "Air Shows" you can do that via Control Panel >Categories.

In each gallery's customize gallery menu, there's a place to assign that gallery to a category.

Ok here is an example of what I want at this link

in gallery categories he has Motorcycles and when you click motorcycles
it comes up to another window with the individual sub catagories withing motorcycles. http://ebardp48.smugmug.com/Motorcycles

I am really not getting this I ave tried severial ways and am not getting what I want.

Ok those aren't subcategories - those are galleries all in the one category "motorcycles"


Are you assigning your galleries to the category Airshows :ear

What's your site name, please?
