These are pictures I took from the roof of my new studio in the Port Richmond section of Philadelphia. I was also trying to use a ball grip on my tripod for the first time..
This first pic is a panorama..

I'm not sure what planet this is, but here it hangs above the Philadelphia skyline. I got some close ups of it, but they aren't worth posting..I need to pick up the 500 mm t-mount lens I saw for that..

Nice panorama, man. I like panoramas.
It seems to be slightly tilted clockwise though. Ever so slightly.
How many images is it? And did you do it manually or use an auto-stitcher?

I used 3 images, that are each 8.2 Mpixel images. I used Arcsoft Panorama Maker 3.0 to stitch the together. There is apparently a lot of dirt on my sensor, and I had to clean up (clone out) a lot of "water spots" and hair squiglies on the image, which I don't want to have to do..but I'm getting a lot better at it.. Also, on the far right, I had to even out the contrast as it came out a little darker than the lest two images at first..then I cloned out the delineation between the 2nd and 3rd images. Then I toyed with the over all brightness and contrast to bring the city out a little more, which also happened to really bring out the sky.

Nice shots. Looks like you shot right across the river from where I've tried to shoot a few times.

... assuming the pic was taken recently, it's in about the right spot for Venus.
