Along with the 20d camera, Canon are introducing a new range of digital lenses, any information on them yet? particularly the wide end.

Some info here. (http://www.dpreview.com/news/0408/04081907canon_efs_flash.asp) They should be great lenses for the 20D.

i will buy it as soon as b&h has it in stock. it's not fast, by any stretch, but should do me in a pinch for those landscapes and other outdoor wide shots where i need a bit of extra reach side-to-side. 10x1.6 is 16mm, and that's plenty wide for me. this is enough reason for me *not* to buy the mk2, which i was considering, just for the 1.3 factor on the wide end.

i hope the lens performs well :D
