Here are some quick samples from Sunday...went to Edison Park with Desert Rat then finished up the day at Bolsa...

Testing out the new 1.4x with the Sigma 300/2.8...not sure I like the results, pretty hard to beat the lens without any TCs (where most of my keepers have been coming as of late)

I don't know Brett, those all look damn nice to me. That sunset catch is fantastic.

Nice captures Brett. I agree the TC's don't work real well on the zooms, although you got some pretty nice shots. I especially like the Snowy Egret.

It's a 300/2.8 prime. More time with the TC will help for sure to obtain sharper images...the sun was harsh which never helps either...mid day shooting = difficult for me...
