Light meter vs ETTL

I've been shooting Canon wireless in ETTL mode. While the ETTL provided excellent results in candids and on camera fill I just don't feel as confident with a multi-light setup (and yes I'm been using 550/580 in wireless mode). Looking for more control, consistency and dependability (shooting T&I's is fast paced don't want to worry about line of site issues) and thinking manual with radio remotes is the way to go.

Just received my PW multimax's and sekonic L-358 light meter, w/ PW module, today. I'm new the the light meter world (and radio remotes for that matter), suggestions or advice on use?

You'll love the Sekonic having it's own transmitter. Multimax is a much more consistent and reliable connection to trigger your strobes. AND, now, you will be able to shoot in manual mode. Mo betta!:thumb
