300d and the dreaded error 99

Well, with a trip to Yosemite this weekend my 300d decided it was gonna give me heartache. Instead of taking a picture it made a funny sound and gave ma the dreaded error 99. Not just once, a few times. It went away when I lifted the primary mirror with my fingers. And it didn't feel good when I did it either. The mirrors are somehow binding. I hope I can get in this weekend before it entirely $hits the bed.
