couldn't really find a thread this would fit in so i just stuck it in this one.:rolleyes

my question is. I really love the signatures you guys put on your images. a.k.a- your watermark. my question is. how do you make it?:scratch do you sign a piece of paper. scan it in. and photoshop it?:dunno

just wanted to know so i could make my own.

I make it into Photoshop Action.

here's a link on custom brushes (http://www.myjanee.com/tuts/brush/cbrush7.htm)

as far as the matte, here are the steps:

1. create two new layers
2. on the middle layer, increase the canvas size by the amount you want your matte. make sure your background color is set to the color you want the matte.

3. then i use "layer styles" on this layer to choose "drop shadow" and play with the settings to get waht you like

4. switch to the third layer
5. click edit>stroke and choose a pixel width for your outer edge.
6. select your signature brush and stamp away.

lol. its fine. try this sig. on for size. :D just did it, and now i have the urge to watermark all of my photos. l:rofl
