Cropping problem when ordering?

I just made an order, and on a few items I checked "crop", but was never asked HOW I wanted the item cropped. Is this a problem?

We've been putting a lot of resources into a new shopping cart that allows you to set your own cropping at checkout time.

We have high hopes for it but we also understand that the majority of customers have no concept of cropping or that photos don't fit all papers correctly.
