I have Nikon D50. When I bought it, I bought a Tamron 18-200mm f3.5 lens with it. I really like them both, but now I'm looking for a macro lens.

I've looked at some of what Nikon, Sigma, and Tamron have... but I'm at a loss as to what would get me the best for my dollars. I'd really rather not spend more than $400-$500 (well, I'd like to... but we all know how fast the money goes, eh?).

Equal or less than f2.8 would be nice, macro, and less than $500. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Help is certainly appreciated =).

Yea... the 60mm/f2.8 Macro. The best of the bunch! You can find them used for about $300. ~$350 @ B&H new. (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?O=productlist&A=details&Q=&sku=66987&is=USA&addedTroughType=search) Worth every penny!
