i have found someone in australia who does IR conversions as well as sells modified compact digital IR cameras.

when i upgrade I will probably send him my 20d

anyway, i thought someone,down here at least, may be interested

Speak to him personally - ask him how he gets his IR glass - where's it mfg'd? Tolerances, etc... That's the critical part.

Maybe March next year then (when I'm expecting the upgrade for the

20D to be announced)! It all depends on your budget and intended

use: some people are already replacing their 20Ds with 5Ds. And I've

even had people asking about getting a 5D converted (they're after

very wide-angle imagery).

Currently I'm working through my stock of Hoya glass supplied through

a firm in the UK, but I'm hoping to have pricing this week from a

different supplier (of Schott glass).

What sort of data were you after?
