Went up to Yorkshire to meet and shoot with FMer Gary Coyle it was freezing but we still had a good day,not as good as Gary's but for 6 months shooting don't think i did too bad

You captured some really nice action and expressions on their faces :clap My, those boys sure are dirty.....LOL
I don't know how much processing you did to these, but it looks like you could easily add some "pop" with curves/levels. Not that they aren't just fine as is, but they look like they could benefit from stretching the histogram :dunno
I've shot rugby about 1/2 dozen times and I would be tickled pink to come home with shots like these :D Of course I shot mine with a 38-200mm prosumer, but still.

Rugby=Brutality, those shots look really good, very crisp and clear.
I like number three the most.

I was struggling with light and my second go with my 300 F4, i think i altered the level a bit i'm not very good at processing

2 photos in the Rugby League Weekly on Monday morning and i usually get 3-4 in Friday mornings local rag.
