The winter season is near again.
This one was taken last year, just after the blizzard last winter in Januari.
Let's hope this type of snow won't happen this year. :):

If the past few days was any indication, we're in for some fun this season!
Cool shot, from the Prudential, no? Do they still have an observation deck? I know its been harder and harder to get up in those buildings in the past few years. I invited friends from Detroit here 2 years ago and promised to show them the view from the top of the Hancock only to find out it was closed.

The restaurant is still open at the top of the Pru (Hub). Great shot - love the reflection of the rest of the city in the tower.

There was around 24 - 27 inches in town.
From this height you really can't judge the amount of snow and a lot of snow was blown into snow-drifts.... But cars were burried under it. It took a while to dig ourselves all out :D

I have a good story that involves me actually deciding to go to a party that night...ah, but I digress...

I have a good story that involves me actually deciding to go to a party that night...ah, but I digress...Same here...
A friend of me invited me and my guest from Holland (visiting me) to come to a party in the Seaport hotel. We knew the blizzard was coming, but they predicted it would not hit until 2am that sunday morning. We would leave around 11pm saturday.
'Needless' to say, at 10pm it was HOWLING outside. To my house, normally it would take about 10-15minutes. But no taxis, nothing! We had to sleep at the hotel. Luckily we could bunk in my friend's room. The next morning we took a cab home... it was still a blizzard.. it was one of the more scarier rides i had through downtown Boston. But it was kind-a fun too!
Hard to get into my apartment. This is shot just after the storm ended; burried cars :D :
