I'll bet you all have some great wide angle shots to share.

I didn't want to clutter up the challenge thread, but I would like to share.
I have not been able to get out shooting yet, but I realize I have lots of wide angle shots in my archives. Most of them are strictly "tourist" snapshots, I guess. But, now that I've learned some of how my camera works, I hope to take some better pictures.

I straightened the building on the left. I didn't know how to do that last summer.

The Penelope pic in the Wide angle thread is in Bruges, I've been trying to find my pic, but it's gone. When my wife and I were there last November it was either thick fog or blue skys. I would love to go back

Your pictures are beautiful. I have mine in a gallery too, but I won't even put in a link because they are not as good. Like I said, I had just gotten my first digital camera. I didn't even know how to use it. I've learned so much about digital photography in the last few months, it's amazing. My travel photos do show a lot of "wide" shots though. Thanks for sharing.

The site shows nine pics, all wide shots, the shots I left out are either shot at 55mm (x1.6) or just rubbish, of about 300 that I took on the trip. The file numbers show it was about my second outing with the camera so as I have played and watched and read so hopefully my photography will improve... I think maybe I am becoming blinded with science and getting paranoid :scratch

That's one of my favorites. Here's another one, from Tuscany.

Stan, it's funny how the canal in this composition is so much like your picture of Bruges. A flip on layout of the water.
