Hi, this is going to be my first photograph in this forum. Please let me know your comments. Thanks in advance for your time.
This was taken in Boca de Pascuales, Colima. Mexico.

I'm a fan. The mist in the distance adds to the 'lost' effect of the shot. That there is no discernable subject does not phase me, though others might differ.
Critiques: Maybe a bit more sharpness would help. Also, I think the composition would capture me more if it was less balanced. I see three horizontal bands roughly proportional with only the middle band being about 25-50% larger (the top of the distant coco trees and the top of the middle-ground earthen piles being the lines of demarcation). Then again, this is just something to see a judge later since it may well add to the lost effect I referenced previously. I think the golden mean is useful, especially when there is no true subject.

Cool shot. It has a surreal look to it. A discernable subject could help, depends on what you are trying to capture. I like the surreal, artistic look to it. Nicely done. I think the softness actually adds to this look.
