Hey Raindog,

One of my favorite subjects captured in a very fine manner. Very sharp pics, must have been a Nikon. :D

BTW

WELCOME TO DGRIN

Thanks Harry,

Indeed, all three were from the D2H. The first two with my beloved 27 year old 400mm/3.5 and the third was taken with a 70-200mm+TC-20E.

Welcome wet doggy,

Nice set of shots of a beautiful birdy. Well done. :thumb :thumb I'm sorry to hear you are a Nikonian like Harry, Machinegun Ben and Musketman Jeff). We won't hold that against you....as long as you don't eat pizza with pineapple and birdwing tips. :uhoh

<puts in a call to the "funky blue" police to keep an eye out for any unusual activity>

You're from the GC o' Florida..eh. There are a couple of us in the Venice area if you are close.

Nothing but black olives and jalepenos on my pizza, thank you very much. I'm right around there.

I just hooked up with another Dgrin (remains nameless as not to catch wrath of non birders ..and guilt by association) for those rookery shots. We also went down the road a bit (placieda fishing bridge etc). Looks like there are a few of us photogs here . :D
