For your viewing pleasure :pimp :ymca :pimp
I setup an embossed signature as an Action and also setup a custom Frame as an action, thanks to Frank on another forum...I've got some work to do on the frame though ;)

Gorgeous photos!
I don't know how an action works. This probably sounds stupid, but do you just like click on something and the whole thing does itself?
Wonderful way to do the frame and I like the signature, but that egret is wonderful as is the heron.

Great Shots! Theres a bit of noise in the background of the second image. You might consider running a remove noise filter.

Ginger, an Action is a recorded set of keystrokes similar to a macro in many other programs. It is very helpful in performing repetative tasks. Like embossing a signature.
There are some pre-recorded actions in Photoshop, but the most helpful ones are the ones that you make and record that fit your workflow.
If you need more details, it may be better to start another thread in the photoshop section.

Being a recent convert from film to digital, I actually like the noise of a dSLR, especially in the 2nd image, helps to keep your eyes where they should be - on the subject :pimp
Some things are just hard to let go of :)
