Most of you know I'm new to wildlife photography...I mostly photograph Motocross and motorcycle racing, but wildlife has me hooked.

The shots are not my favorite or best, but they are really a milestone for me and wanted to share with you all - my first capture of an Egret sucking down a fish of some kind...no idea what kind of fish but pretty cool nonetheless.

Conditions: Marinle Layer, no sun, like shooting in nasty fog (you can see some of it in the 2nd shot)

Let me know what you think...

Difficult to get good detail shooting white on white, and you did. Good shooting.

Very nice work Brett! Way to make the most of less than ideal shooting conditions...

Cool, Brett!

When those birds left my area they had feet.

I would add those to the shots and they would be spot on for a bird.

Really good detail. YOU ARE GETTING CLOSE TO YOUR BIRDS in that great western state!
