I did these after midnight last night, or something like that. They are from the Pitt St bridge area the night of 11 04, I have more from that area, but I had trouble with the colors on these. Above is the skyline with some ship that put out shortly after. These birds seem to hang around there, get stirred up, then settle. I could not get the color right, I thought there should be more in the skyline. I tried the WB dropper in RAW, in Curves and the black curve in CMYK, plus no wonder what all...... I think the above one I did the least, it was the second one done, I think.

Below: subtly different:

Next I decided to work "delicately" on this delicate little bird. I picked two different shots, both in good focus to do. I was happy until I realized the color balance was different. I tried to match, couldn't, went to bed.......

I like the dirt in the one with the lavendar cast, but I like the water in the other one. In the one with the lavendar cast, I had trouble with the water. The bird was in a different place, could this be natural, suggestions?

This is another bird I have not tried to ID, they all look alike to me, there are subtle differences. But I like these photos, delicate bone structure, etc.

Thanks, Harry. I think that is the one with a little more color thanks to all methods thrown into the pot.

Thanks for look, stopping and taking the time! I love groups/flocks of birds and would like to get better at taking the photos.
