I spent most of the last week up in the Flinders Ranges on holiday , and really wanted to get a shot of one of these beatiful birds. Kept an eye out for the whole week and nothing, the closest I got was seeing one about 1/2 a mile off sitting on top of a tree, jumped out of the car and it flew off , D'oh.....
On the way home we're driving past a sheep paddock and I see this huge bird sitting on top of a dead sheep having a jolly old time. Again as I get out of the car it flys off, I managed to get on shot in though .... :D
