ok smugmug stylers,
much in the same way that we link up to our hackers and api guys (http://www.smugmug.com/hack/hacks-apps) from the smugmug help section, we want to link our best stylers from our customization page (http://www.smugmug.com/help/custom-colors). the thinking is, there might be smugmug pro account holders that would like to engage the services of a smugmug referenced styler, in order to get their site cobranding done up in a fancy way, really fast.
so, how does it work? you can nominate yourself for inclusion, right here, or by emailing me. in order to gain approval for listing, you should be able to create really cool cobranding, elegantly, accurately, and with style. having references of smugmug sites you've styled will help a lot. you'll need to be able to be responsive to requests by pro account holders, i hear that they're pretty demanding :wink. we expect that you'd provide the same high level of service as smugmug does, guaranteeing satisfaction, standing behind your work, answering inquiries in a fast manner, and providing excellent value.
da rulez: smugmug is the sole determiner of who qualifies as a referencable stylist. smugmug can modify this program at any time, in any way, including modifying the list of referenced stylers. any and all business relations regarding the styling work you do for the pro account holder would be between you and that pro account holder.
any questions, please ask them here - there might be others who have the same questions!

As I was typing this my Mac hard crashed again (odd after a clean install Saturday evening). Anyways I am still new to CSS, but am completely interested (now I got a reason to spend weeks documenting all the CSS tags). Just give me a few weeks to complete document all the CSS tags and and I will be ready. I was already thinking of doing a Christmas theme.

I read you could remove the smugmug stuff. I also stripped my site of everything, so that I can build it into my personal site when I get that done.

Quoted by JT on 10-22-05:
"I saw that you figured out how to do this, but had to remove the offending CSS code. If you added a space in the footer, it will remove the larger footer and only leave the mini-footer there. But that mini-footer can NOT be removed. It containts copyright info pertaining to smugmug that must be on every page.
For the record, I am not singling you out - this is a must for ALL sites on smugmug."
Must leave the mini-footer :)

I am here, but there is not much to talk about as far as this issue is concerned. The smugmug copyright notice must be there on every single page. I have plans of ensuring that it will be on each page, but I don't want to take away the customization options from anyone. If I continue to see this abused, I will have no choice but to implementing those plans.
BTW - I updated your customizations to put the mini-footer back for you :)

Ok, I was just about to mosey on over and do that right now. I wouldn't mind just "©2005 Smugmug" but I don't like all the other links That's my problem. Also would be nice to blend it into my site copyright (same line or what ever) in the footer.

Most of those links have ID;s for you to remove them. The only one missing an ID is the login, which I have added and it should be out soon for you to customize with the others.
