Love the colors in the sunset. Lets hope Wilma doesn't spoil your fun in the wetlands. Don't know
what we'd do without your beautiful pics. Maybe have to switch to gaters, they won't blow away.:rofl

Thanks Al. Not to worry we weren't hit that hard here by Wilma. The gators are cool they just don't pose as nice as the birds do.

Hey Trish,

What's happening with your D70? Gordon's flying in Thursday and we will be in the Wetlanda that afternoon if you want to join us. If your D70 ain't back yet you could shoot with my D100.

The birds can detect when a storm is coming in and they find cover until it passes.

Hiya harry,

Still no camera back yet. What time will y'all be at the W/L? I am working now, and my playtime has been limited. The business is very busy after the storm..so I'll see what Thurs. Brings. I am pretty sure I won't have my camera back by then, and would be happy to use yours..thanks! No promises though...I will let you know on thurs..ok?

Thanks Mike. I agree about the reflection on the first shot. Thats the problem with a long prime. It get you in close and sometimes there no room to zoom back with your feet

:cry :cry :cry :cry :cry :cry <fake crying> I feel real bad for you, buddy. Having 3.5X the reach that I do must really suck!! :bad :lol4 :freaky

I hear ya on the prime thing. I am pretty good at walking/running with camera up to my face and not looking where I'm going. :uhoh :D I'm amazed I've not ended up falling off the seawalls, bridges, jetties or docks and taking the camera swimming. :dunno <knocks on wood> I usually am too far away for the " shot ". I won't give up my primes though.

How 'bout the Chicago White Sox. <sniff sniff> Smellin' a sweep??

Harry, I keep meaning to comment here, and I haven't. No excuse, except every time I see it, it is the wrong moment.

I like all the shots of course. Especially the green heron. I like them as I don't see them anymore. Please say Hi to my wayward bird for me.

My favorite though is the shot of the ducks. It is the first shot of these ducks that I have liked. I love how you got one to fly with the wings up and the other with the wings down. You are a good bird trainer, Harry!

Nice photos,:clap

Thank you Ginger. I'm glad that I finally, after 15 tries, posted a pic of those black bellied whistling ducks that you have liked. :rofl
