I find the bright spot very distracting, but the shot is VERY cool, love the blurred face in the background. The face makes the shot. I love it.

I agree with the Greapster. The white spot's distracting.... but I love the pastel color, the texture, the blur... very nice image. I also think I see the beginnings of the banding I see on my 1D in low light at high ISO.

I think that is more a result of some very agressive unsharp mask settings. You can see a similar effect when increasing saturation or contrast. It is true that the ISO 3200 is not a 'calibrated' setting and is disabled by default. The ISO 1600 setting is pretty impressive as you can see in this thread (http://www.dgrin.com/showthread.php?t=2104)
