Hi guys
I found this site last weekend, I think its really a "wow" page so far. What do you think ?
Now to my question:
Is something similar possible for customization? I think its just a flash site.. but Is there any way to build up the portfolio view like on this page ? :wink
Here (http://www.quantzphoto.com/#/home) is the site which I found ...

The simple answer is probably yes. The not so simple answer is it depends on your ability to code in CSS and make FLASH movies.
They really isn't anything from stopping you from taking everything off your homepage (via CSS) and dropping in a slick flash movie. You would need another site or host location to store the flash movie itself.
Then within the flash call links to direct people to your galleries (for purchasing). But I guess the question that comes up is... are you doing online sales or need for client proofing, etc? Or are you just using it for portfolio. If it's just for portfolio then why host with SM in the first place. But if you are selling and need proofing, download, etc then I'm sure with some very creative CSS you can make this work.
So again the short answer is yes.. I believe you can create a flash movie, host it somewhere else and embed it into your SmugMug site. Then using flash to call links to any necessary static HTML pages and other galleries it can be done. The biggest trick would be to make the theme and look of the sites to match. Cause once they landed on a smugmug gallery they would lose the slick flash page.
