The old Sony Mavica 500 hey :D have you still got it??
Well I'm still hanging onto my old Sony F707, and my F828 cause I love how easy it is to do IR shots with them.

I looked back at a few shots I took in the past and gosh its amazing how much you improve over the years isn't it, I bet you've noticed it too with your own work.......it's forums like these that you get the most out of.
