K, I understand the cname records and how they work, but want to have my 'hosted webpage' be www.stickspics.com (http://www.stickspics.com), and all of my galleries available through the site. (Kinda how it's working now, check it out (http://www.stickspics.com))
but I've got an html document (http://stickspics.com) Currently located at stickspics.com (no www in front of it). But if anyone types stickspics.com/Sarah/ (http://stickspics.com/Sarah) they don't get the same thing as www.stickspics.com/Sarah/ (http://www.stickspics.com/Sarah/) . I think this is because my hosted webpage (stickspics.com) doesn't have a subdirectory called Sarah. It does have one called Judco (http://www.stickspics.com/Judco/) But anyway.
What I want is to have the html document located at stickspics.com to control the homepage www.stickspics.com (http://www.stickspics.com). Currently www.stickspics.com (http://www.stickspics.com) is hosted at jamoke.smugmug.com And I want to overwrite that file. So... I want to use my own HTML for the homepage, but I want everything else to work exactly as it does on www.stickspics.com (http://www.stickspics.com/)
I know it can be done, because many of you are currently doing it.
Oh, BTW, I use GoDaddy.com for my hosting, and they claim they can't help me at all.
