Have tried to upload photos to this gallery (http://riverbend.smugmug.com/gallery/769030) a few times over the last two days but no success.
The file/photo is large (11.4mb) but it's under the max
Help :dunno

fred, check and be sure you're uploading a valid .jpg okay? also, try the "one at a time" uploader, just for kicks, ok?

Also not sure if this has anything to do with this but the photo is 40' X 15' in photoshop
And I did just now check out the jpg and as far as I can tell it is a valid .jpg
Double click on it and Windows Picture and Fax Viewer shows the photo
Thanks

are you sure the photo is less than 16mb (if you are a pro account holder) or 8mb (if you are a standard or power user?)

are you sure the photo is less than 16mb (if you are a pro account holder) or 8mb (if you are a standard or power user?)I am a pro user the file is 14.27 reported by PS and 14.2 in windows
Photo dem are 24401 X 9300.
I also tried Firefox and used the standard uploader and it did not work either
Just for the heck of it I tried a different photo but same gallery and it took the photo and displayed it no problem
So now I am really confused must be something about the photo ...but I don't know what ?
I scanned my computer and scanned the photo no virus
I guess I will try to make a new .jpg from the .psd
I do thank you for your time and help Andy and also John via email :thumb

fred, it's too big. 48mpx is the limit, my friend (http://www.smugmug.com/help/photo-storage) take it down some and you'll be fine.
