IPTC help

I've been a mugger for about the last six months and think it's great :thumb - but have a need for something it won't do. I want to be able to enter and write IPTC data to the pictures while they are online. The keywords you can enter do not get written to the pictures as IPTC data. I know you can do it prior to uploading, but I want to have multiple people do it while the pics are online. Anyone have any thoughts about this or know of any online photo sharing that has this feature? - Thanks

I'm uploading school pictures - I'd like to have some other people go in and enter IPTC keywords - and eventually download the whole thing for an archive - and have the keyword data persist. I got a "no can do" from Ben MacAskill over the weekend.
