No matter! Hanging around Algonquin Park has other opportunities.

With my tongue in my cheek, I said to my wife in a sarcastic tone, "Geez...another beautiful scene".

Each landscape competed with the previous one...

...and the one after it!

Its a shame the moose were not there. I love moose and want a good moose shot greatly.

At least you get to enjoy being out there with all of the other beauty to photograph.

Thanks for sharing

Great shots, the one with the water and the blue clouds is my fav. The reflection is so sharp... Serene landscape, I can not imagine that people are there... Looks like a beautiful area...

Ric,

I'm with PC. That first shot is outstanding :thumb :clap :thumb That water looks like a mirror :lust

Now all you have to do is find a place with beautiful still water and foliage with wild Autumn colors blazing :rofl A shot like that and I could go meet my maker with no regrets....LOL

Looks like it was a very good weekend for you :D

Thanks for sharingIt's a lot closer to Algonquin from Toledo than it is from Hampshire, Il.!!! I'll be expecting some moose shots from you!

It would have been the icing on the cake. :nod

No moose??? Terrible!!! :nah

Hehe, wonderful pics, Ric. I really like the first one with the reflections. A polarizer might come in handy here though. And the third one with all that red color creeping in... really nice.

Good work!

Ric, I feel your pain!

I have been looking for birds for a week, or a bit more. On the way, well it has deteriorated to "just another beautiful scene".

I guess we are lucky to have those, smile. Are your meese seasonal, or do you have the same chances every time you go out?

I do like your scenics!

(we could cheat and put the mooses and birds in, but wouldn't be the same and a lot of work besides. Most of the thrill is in the "catch" so to speak.)

I would frame and "wall" one, too! Love the reflections, also.

It's a fate that we have willingly chosen! :nod

Maybe I can have a "wall" like Harry's someday. :rofl

Thanks, Ginger. :D
