El Segundo is a beach town and very central to Los Angeles. He'll be about a 20 minute drive, at most, from most places of interest. Venice is right up the street and Santa Monica not too much further. Then he's got Hollywood, Beverly Hills, both The Getty and Getty Villa. The list goes on and on.
