Trying to find a good deal on the 300 IS L 2.8 Canon lens. I am not a part of SportShooter so I cannot hit their classifieds and I have a real issue with Ebay usually, not to mention you rarely save any money there.

that's a hot lens, rarely comes up for used sale. keep an eye on fm.com buy and sell

That site does not allow gmail/hotmail/yahoo addresses and I am not about to use my work address.

i'm on fredmiranda.com with my yahoo.com email addy. did you try recently? if yes, well, then try another free service - use google to seach "free email"

I use a Yahoo address on FM--no problems! --debbie



That site does not allow gmail/hotmail/yahoo addresses and I am not about to use my work address.

I keep getting the below error using my gmail account:

In order to avoid spam, duplicate registration and fraudulent accounts, FM forums does not allow registration from 'free' or internet based email addresses such as Yahoo, Hotmail, etc...
Click on the browser “back” button to enter an alternative email to register with.

Wierd. I'm on with my yahoo address as well.

Anyway, that sucker might be gone soon. Have you looked over at KEH?
There are a few for sale. Ranging in price from ~$3000.
