Yes - nice light. I think this one could use a stronger subject though.

A big fat moose would have been nice! No luck, so I settled for the light.:rolleyes

Oh, Ric, the problem is the "almost". Such gorgeous light, it looks like it needs a subject to hit, so my eye settled on the rock...........and then it died a little with disappointment.

I think the problem is the beauty of the light, there needs be something to live up to it.

(Sorry if that sounds strange, I am watching a BBC movie: The Lost Prince. Truly, what I said is how I felt when I saw your photo.) Do you have any others of that place and the light, others where there is something that leads to the light, or where there is a greater object, not a moose, a lovely bird, perhaps, sitting on the rock in the correct third of the photo? A white bird, or a fragile bird? And I think it all might need some room.

Or, hey, what if you darkened most of the photo, so that there wouldn't be the scattered bits of light with nowhere for the eye to settle. Just a thought. (but not the rock, the rock is too distracting and not worthy of the light.)

It really is gorgeous, the light, the grass and your treatment of it.
