Hi everyone. Well the day finally came. Samantha was born today weighing in at 5lbs 8 ounces and 19 inches. Words can't describe the joy I am feeling.It is great to finally be able to share her with you...

Kidding, I know...................have you told them that they have been replaced?

I am glad for your excitement! Sara, she withed 5 lbs 12 oz and was about the same length as Sam. Very cuddly baby. Sam looks like she will be, too.

Congrats to the family. I am sure the dogs will adjust to be tied to a stake outdoors in time. (just kidding, smile.)

She is tiny! Beautiful baby. You must be so proud. :): It's good you are getting her use to the camera early. I'm sure you will be taking loads of pictures.

all the reasons for owning a camera are now second to the #1 reason - having a baby in the house. I can tell you that after having 4 kids, there is nothing more special than having a baby in the house.... your life is now changed in ways you cant imagine yet but I promise you this......
you have been blessed! She is beautiful! Her name is perfect and tonight you and your wife will start a brand new life with this baby. You and your wife are about to begin a new chapter that makes all the previous ones seems irrelevant..... enjoy and make it a good read!!!

Well how proud are you :rofl Samantha is a little cutie, I'm sure you will flood the forum with her picture as often as you can :D cause that's what dad's do.
My youngest brother is the only one who has a daughter, all my other brothers and my sister had sons, my brother used to really amaze me at how well he dressed Krystal when she was little, with things nicely colour co-ordinated, and nothing clashing......I never thought he had it in him hehehe :rofl

I was just kidding about the dogs.

I know that it is Sam you are going to tie to a stake outside (and if you believe I mean that? I will be crushed)

I have never had a problem with any animal I have had and a baby.

I saw that post, Mitchell, was going to respond later, terrible lurker that I am.

However, just to mention:

SAMANTHA will now go to the top of the "most popular" baby names lists.

my granddaughter was named Madison about 6 yrs ago. I personally thought that was crazy, but it shot right to the top.

Hey, ho, welcome the name Samantha. Eve will be on many people's list "forever".

Eric, my son was like that from day 1 too. Still that way most of the time...though we are fast heading into the terrible two's:uhoh

Wonderful photo, Labs, wonderful. She is gorgeous, if usually silent. I never had one of those. I did have a couple who seemed to know the more appropriate times to cry. And a couple who needed to be trained, oh, taught, I mean.


Just such a happy time, so happy to see you all happy and sharing. Such good photos!
