I went out the other day to capture some herons before they fly south.On the way to my spot I noticed these two bucks having a snack in a farmers field.I didn't find the herons but these two made the trip worth while.
Just out having a snack,I managed to fire off a few photo's of these two

The first one has a wonderful 3-dimensional quality to it. Very nice.

i know you said it was cropped, but I would lose the sky and distant trees in the first shot - something like this if you have the room to crop a tad further - and I think it would look great....hope you don't mind my borrowing the image to respond....

I like the depth of field in the 1st one too! What lens is this taken with?

No problem with the edit Keith,that works to...icei know you said it was cropped, but I would lose the sky and distant trees in the first shot - something like this if you have the room to crop a tad further - and I think it would look great....hope you don't mind my borrowing the image to respond....

Hi Lucky dog,I was using the Sigma 50-500mm (Bigma) at 500mm focal length and F 7.1.Thanks for lookin...iceI like the depth of field in the 1st one too! What lens is this taken with?
