Lovely series Harry. That first shot is excellent with the water dripping from the Ducks beak. What type of ducks are these?

hey Ben,
I'm trying to document their growth and development so every week I try to take a batch of pictures of them.
Glad you enjoyed them. They started out with 24 ducklings and at last count they were down to 9. I saw them on Monday and only counted 7 but couldn't be sure if I wasn't missing the other two. I'll be going back tomorrow and hopefully I can get an accurate count.

Thanks Jeff. I needed to step down the aperture for that shot but I was already at ISO 400 and didn't want to go higher.

Harry,
I am always glad to know somebody is watching over them when I am not there.
Good shots! Love how they have been hanging around the lilly pads...must be so there feets are not always dangling in the water..
All good but love the first with the drops!

I enjoy most of your shots. This series shows a departure from the norm IMO.
I like these shots very much. :thumb
Amazing how many unusual beings that nature provides for our enjoyment.
Edit: After rereading this, I hope I didn't come off as sounding bored or critical of your work! Not my intention. Sometimes I just fail to use enough words. Laziness....methinks! :D

Hey Trish,
It was tough but with you on the sidelines I knew someone had to step up. They are the best models. They strike some fine poses. :D

Hey Ric,
I got your meaning fine and you never sounded bored or critical. One of the reasons I enjoy shooting these guys because it is a change of pace from my "usual" shots. Its a joy to watch these guys. I ran across them again today and was thrilled to see that all 9 of the ducklings were still with us.
