I made the trek to Colonial Photo and Hobby in Orlando yesterday...actually more like a pilgrimage to Mecca...to see the fabled 5D.
By last night, the 5D and a 17-40L were in my camera bag, my Rebel XT was returned to Circuit City (it had been JUST less than 2 weeks) and my 20D and 10-22 were sold.
I LOVE the feel of this camera and the LCD is absolutely huge. Now, I can only hope it performs the way I've heard from several testimonials.
BTW, after playing with one at the shop, SOMEONE please talk me out of buying a 28-300L...please, for the sake of my marriage... http://photography-on-the.net/forum/images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif
