As some of you may know our most excellent Moderator, gives us West Coast boys & girls (well everyone really :D) certain bird challenges to obtain.
Very good for photography practice and learning species types, I think :thumb
Well the most current is KingFisher......:wow tough buger! I do think however with this set we can now move on to the next birdie :thumb :wink
Oh and no offense to other posts of Kingfishers here as all are splendid :thumb
Harry just needs more of a visual aid, he seems to need a little extra push :rofl :lol4

And Harry "Limpkin" is not a good choice for next birdie, as they only eat those snails found in your part of the country, please choose another :D

Ben, Those are really spectacular. I never knew they made remote controlled Kingfishers though :rofl . You really have blown away all the competition on this one. #2 is especially good. Congratulations on a truely exceptional capture.

Beautiful Ben :thumb
If I can cast a vote for the next bird, lets make it a little more of a challenge and choose Chukar! :evil
Especially a challenge for the Eastern Side of the country.

As I said elsewhere, great shots. I figured you would punk out of the limpkin challenge. A good limpkin shot would be too much for you westies. :rofl
And you got a problem with snails? Its a lot better than pineapple on pizza

Sigh. Ok lets not go for a specific bird as that would be unfair to you Westies. Lets go for reflection shots. This way everybody can play the game. Bonus points for deep blue water. :rofl

Real nice pics, Ben. Especially like that egret shot above. That's beautiful blue water you made there. :thumb
Reflections? My vampire birds don't cast reflections......UNFAIR!!! :uhoh **puts on the special anti reversing vampire filter to allow for reflections**

What do you all think of a Weekly Challenge for this forum. The Challenge would have similar rules to the regular dgrin challenge and a theme, wouldn't necessarily need a prize.
For example
Rules
Picture has to be taken during the time frame of the challenge
Picture must meet the theme of the challenge
One picture posted per poster per challenge
Example themes
Small birds (less than 6 in)
Raptors
Owls
Ducks/Geese
etc etc
Just a thought,

You know I would play, but........
It's a lot of work to keep a Challenge going and It's not up to me.
