I took this picture in Manhattan yesterday. Which one do you like better:

Toine I like number 2 better because more of the face is visible. However, I find the bright headlight reflection distracting. If you toned that spot down a bit it would be a real winner. :thumb

Thanks! I didn't see that, but you're right. I have to clone that out, or tone it down somewhat.

I like number one and the fact that her gaze is to the side--giving the viewer a glimpse of a good profile. I feel it accentuates the title "solitude" to its fullest.

I agree with Michal - I like number 1 best. The perspective seems to me more fitting for the theme solitude.

Thanks! I agree, the first one is my favorite too.

Hi Deb,
I too like #1 better as it says "solitude" more so than #2. #2 seems to imply more action since her eyes are looking in a different direction than her face. #1 is a simple gaze into neverland, nicely done.
The bag logo looks like she's been shopping at J&R Music World (another reputable online purchasing place).
Thanks for sharing,
Chris

Thanks, like I said, I like #1 better too. But someone IRL liked #2 better, so I figured I'd ask the experts here :D
I wish she wasn't carrying that bag, but I don't want to "alter" the moment, and clone it out. She was wearing traditional garb, and the bag kinda ruins that for me. Less so in B&W than in color.

Number one for sure--for all the above reasons.

Thanks! I have muted the headlight in picture two, so that should be an improvement!

I vote for #2 because of the facial features. Love the black and white too. S:):

They are both great shots, but I would go with the majority (so far anyway), #1 is better. As far as the bag is concerned, I think it just adds to the candid fell of the shot.
