What a pleasure it is to have some free time. I've been so bogged down with stuff I haven't even looked at my camera. But this weekend I got out to the 3rd Street Promenade (spelling?) yesterday and today, The Grove.

Any ideas on how to shoot these better next time are always welcomed.http://digitalgrin.com/images/smilies/clap.gif

There's a huge fountain in the middle of the Grove. They have some Koi there the size of a school bus.

I got your PM. I'm not ignoring you; just have a lot of plates I'm spinning at the same time. I'll answer your PM tomorrow.

Thank you for the input.http://digitalgrin.com/images/smilies/thumb.gif

Hi Snap,
The only way I'm thinking that you could improve these would be to submerge your camera and get an underwater shot:huh. Then again, it may not come out too well if you do that. Nice shots with brilliant colors, but the focus is a bit soft. Not sure if that's caused by the water or the focus. I've found that shooting through water causes auto focus to be fooled, so I usually use manual focus.

Wonder how they would taste smoked:eat.
